In addition to our summer program, Good Counsel Camp, is available to groups throughout the rest of the year (we call this our Off season program).

Off season camping is available for groups from 10 to 125.  The main Camp consists of a dining hall, cabins, bath houses, chapel and various accessory buildings.  The pool is not open during the off season, however, the lake is suitable for swimming, boating and fishing.  The Camp facilities are available for day use, overnights, weekends, and longer stays.  The setting is ideal for youth and young adult retreats, days of reflection, parish picnics, etc.  Various options are available from a no meal package, to having the Camp cook purchase and prepare your meals.  For recreation our canoes, volleyball court and basketball court are available.  Our low ropes course and instructors are available to facilitate the building of community, trust and teamwork.

Tomahawk Lodge is one of the outposts belonging to Good Counsel Camp and is located on the Rainbow River outside Dunnellon (about 15 miles north of the main camp).  Accommodations consist of a two story building with kitchen, one and one half baths, meeting room and sleeping quarters.  We recommend this lodge for groups up to 30.  The special lure here is the picturesque river with its refreshing (temperature in the mid 70's year round) crystal clear spring water.  Canoeing, tubing, swimming, and fishing are popular activities.  Our five acres provides room for dry land sports as well.  Groups do their own cooking in the kitchen and outdoor grill.  Day rates and weekend rates are available.
